Job Title: Territory Business Manager - Fraser Valley
About the Opportunity: The Territory Business Manager for Fraser Valley plays a pivotal role in driving Ascensia Diabetes Care Canada Inc.'s growth, championing our product portfolio to healthcare professionals across the region. Through strategic relationship-building and consultative selling, this individual will expand market share, deepen customer engagement, and consistently deliver against ambitious sales targets. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute directly to improving patient outcomes in diabetes care, while growing your career within a supportive organization!
Location: This is a field sales position that must be located in the Greater Fraser Valley geography.

What you will be doing:

  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales quotas and market share objectives for Ascensia Diabetes Care products within the Fraser Valley territory.
  • Develop and maintain strong, credible relationships with key opinion leaders, endocrinologists, primary care physicians, diabetes educators, pharmacists, and other relevant healthcare professionals.
  • Execute strategic sales plans, call cycles, and promotional activities to maximize product adoption and utilization.
  • Educate healthcare professionals on the clinical benefits, features, and proper use of Ascensia Diabetes Care products through effective presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Analyze territory sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and challenges, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Effectively manage territory budget and resources to ensure optimal return on investment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, medical affairs, and customer service, to ensure a coordinated approach to customer engagement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and activity reports in the CRM system.
  • Attend and participate in national and regional sales meetings, training programs, and industry conferences.
  • Adhere to all company policies, compliance guidelines, and ethical standards.


What you need for success:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of successful pharmaceutical or medical device sales experience, preferably in diabetes or a related therapeutic area.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the Canadian healthcare system and pharmaceutical market.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • Residency within the Fraser Valley territory is strongly preferred.

The hiring range for this position is $77,000 - 88,000+ CAD; plus individuals may be eligible for the sales incentive plan bonus plan.
