Job description

) MGM Healthcare provides rehabilitation, skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living, and independent living centers in Missouri and Oklahoma. Our centers provide on-site therapy and rehabilitation services - using the latest equipment and techniques - that run the gamut from physical and occupational therapy to special memory units and respite care. Our corporate office is located in St. Louis, Missouri. This position will move between facilities as needed throughout Missouri and Oklahoma.
Overview
o Reports to the Revenue Cycle Manager
o Provides leadership and oversight to the Business Office Managers at assigned centers
o Ensures that MGM Policies and Procedures are developed, maintained and implemented consistently

Responsibilities
o Assists with hiring, onboarding, training and continuing professional development of BOMs
o Incorporates best practices into MGM's Policies and Procedures and uses them to develop and guide BOMs
o Timely billing and collections of Medicaid, Private Pay, and Hospice for MGM's Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs)
o Delivers a minimum of 98% cash collections on Medicaid, Medicaid Pending and Private Pay residents
o Conduct consistent and timely accounts receivable reviews with a focus on delivering successful billing and collection results
o Assist with month-end close activities including RAM workflow, census reconciliation, proper cash posting
o Oversee Resident Account Trust Accounts (i.e. RFMS), resident refund requests
o Ensure successful Medicaid application process
Requirements
o Associates Degree or relevant work experience
o At least two (2) years of experience as SNF Business Office Manager
o At least three years of experience with Medicaid, including the application process
o Experience using PointClickCare (PCC) preferred
