Job description

We are currently seeking a Regional Business Office Manager.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Provide oversight and support to facility business office operations across multiple locations
  • Monitor and guide billing, collections, cash posting, and accounts receivable processes
  • Support the management of resident trust funds and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations
  • Review daily banking activity, deposits, and cash reconciliation processes for assigned facilities
  • Ensure proper adherence to Social Security, State, Medicaid, Medicare, and other payer regulations
  • Assist facilities with Medicaid pending, denials, aging, collections, and reimbursement issues
  • Oversee Social Security Representative Payee processes where applicable
  • Partner with facility leadership and corporate teams to improve revenue cycle outcomes
  • Conduct audits, reviews, and follow-up related to billing practices, trust accounts, and financial processes
  • Train, mentor, and support Business Office Managers and other facility-level business office staff
  • Assist with month-end processes, financial reporting, and operational standardization across buildings
  • Travel to assigned facilities as needed to provide on-site support and leadership

Requirements:
Experience and/or knowledge of:
  • Medicare & Medicaid reimbursement
  • Long-term care billing and collections
  • Consolidation of billing processes
  • Management of resident trust accounts
  • Daily cash/check deposits and reconciliation
  • Accounts receivable follow-up and aging management
  • Daily staffing and financial reporting
  • Purchase order processes and facility business office operations

Additional qualifications:
  • Previous work in a long-term care facility required
  • Minimum of two years of related business office leadership experience, preferably in a multi-site or regional capacity
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Team player with excellent work ethic and positive attitude
  • Willingness to travel, and work occasional weekend and evening hours as needed
