Job description

Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) serves 50 million customers with a broad range of consumer financial services, including personal banking, investment advice, small business lending, mortgages, credit cards, payments and auto financing. As a Finance & Business Management Senior Associate on the Consumer Banking Finance and Business Management team, you will be responsible for optimizing business performance by helping to drive key initiatives.   You will act as a trusted advisor and counterweight to Business/Group Heads, and are responsible for identifying, escalating, and mitigating business risks.  Each team serves as strategic business partners to the firm's Divisional Directors, Regional Directors and Market Directors who lead the Chase Retail Financial Services network.  If you are a highly motivated individual and interested in providing Finance and Business Management support within their aligned division, please apply today.  You will support both the divisional and regional business managers as they provide the field leadership with insights into the territory's performance, such as D&I balance growth, customer experience, client outreach, and field staff (e.g., branch manager, banker, advisor) performance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the divisional and regional business managers through reporting, analysis, and deep dives into results, as needed with the focus to understand and optimize results
  • Provide a high level of responsiveness to executive ad-hoc requests related to project management, presentation development, and business analysis
  • Organize complex information in a strategic and compelling way, demonstrating strong design acumen and expertise in Excel and PowerPoint techniques. Create wireframes and mock-ups quickly and iteratively for management presentations, reports, and dashboards
  • Communicate effectively with key business partners to understand projects and drive next steps
  • Manage projects and deliver key work streams and tasks
  • Prepare Divisional and regional business review packages
  • Develop deep knowledge to become the team's subject matter expert on key focus areas
  • Participate in and support ad-hoc special projects and requests as needed
  • Contribute to divisional / national initiatives (includes owning and driving certain projects on divisional / national level)

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline
  • 4+ years of relevant Financial Services experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial principles and ability to link results to activities 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple (and changing) concurrent project deliverables 
  • Ability to work collaboratively and develop strong relationships across the organization
  • Strong follow-through, initiative, and sense of urgency
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other financial applications
  • Must be results-oriented and focused on the delivery of solutions, with superior attention to detail
  • Some travel may be required

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience with Tableau or Databricks a plus
  • Overall branch knowledge and base knowledge of Retail Banking Financial Systems
