Job description

Berks Career & Technology Center (BCTC) is seeking a dedicated Business Management & Entrepreneurship Instructor to inspire and prepare the next generation of young people with the skills, knowledge and drive to become business leaders and entrepreneurs. About Us: BCTC is a premier career and technical education center and school of choice serving high school and adult learners through highly relevant, hands-on programs aligned directly with business and industry needs. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have demonstrated knowledge and experience in business management principles, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, marketing, accounting, business planning, project management, and emerging business technologies. Experience operating or managing a business, developing entrepreneurial initiatives, and collaborating with industry partners is highly desirable. Requirements: ยท Must hold a bachelor's degree in Business Ed, Marketing, or related field. ยท MBA/master degree in related field desired but not required. ยท Minimum four (4) years of full-time wage-earning experience in business management principles, entrepreneurship, marketing and business planning beyond the training period. ยท Must hold a Pennsylvania Department of Education certification in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies (CIP Code: 52.0701) in Business, Computer & Information Technology 1603, or eligibility to obtain certification. ยท Strong technical, communication, organization, and classroom management skills Work schedule: Mondayโ€“Friday, 7:30 a.m.โ€“3:15 p.m. (7ยพ hours/day), 10-months (190 days). Includes six evening functions annually and two extended faculty meetings per month. Why Join our team?
