Core Purpose
The Marketing Intern supports the marketing team to enhance and promote The Trust Company of Tennessee's brand. This position will provide insights that support strategic decision-making, business development efforts, and client engagement while helping create meaningful experiences for clients and employees.
Responsibilities
  • Demonstrates a commitment to The Trust Company's Mission, Core Values, and Client Promise.
  • Assists the Marketing Team in planning and day-of-event logistics for client appreciation events, internal gatherings, and educational seminars, including room setup, catering coordination, and event breakdown.
  • Regularly updates client tracking systems to monitor relationship activity.
  • Facilitates annual large-scale client gift mailings.
  • Tracks and manages tickets to local sporting events used by TTC's client service teams.
  • Utilizes our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and Excel to extract and analyze client data, including client tiers, Total Market Value, and wallet share percentages, to support relationship management and business development initiatives.
  • Develops comprehensive reports by consolidating information from internal databases to support year-end reporting, strategic planning, and leadership decision-making.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Business Analytics, Communications, or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in managing Excel workbooks while utilizing XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, data filtering, and PivotTables.
  • Basic knowledge of design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills with an eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple projects.
