Job description

Responsibilities

The Senior Intelligence Team Lead is responsible for the day-to-day management of the contract, including staffing, financial oversight, and technical and programmatic reporting. This role oversees both employees and subcontractors and requires proficiency in managing LOE, completion, and cost reimbursable contract types. The Team Lead provides technical and administrative direction, ensures high-quality performance, and mentors team members. 

The Team Lead will collaborate closely with the COTR and senior customer stakeholders to maintain technical, cost, and schedule baselines, develop deliverables, define requirements, and set expectations. 

Additional responsibilities may include: 

  • Ensuring successful technical, schedule, and cost performance in accordance with contract requirements and company policies 
  • Developing staffing plans, including skill mix and labor allocation
  • Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring personnel as needed
  • Assigning work, providing technical guidance, and reviewing deliverables 
  • Monitoring contracts, sub-contracts, and funding; preparing financial forecasts 
  • Preparing required reports at contract, project, and financial levels
  • Coordinating onboarding activities, including security processing and administrative setup

Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph 
  • 16 years of experience in all-source intelligence analysis, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or team lead capacity   
  • 10 years of experience at the joint, interagency, or combatant command level, with demonstrated experience supporting the Joint Staff (JS)  
  • 3 years' experience leading and supervising teams of intelligence analysts, including assigning workloads, reviewing finished intelligence products for analytic rigor, and providing mentorship and performance evaluations 
  • Familiarity with Joint Staff processes, procedures, and organizational structure 
  • Expert-level experience with ICD 203/206 (Analytic Standards) 
  • Demonstrated experience integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) tools and methodologies into all-source intelligence analysis workflows 
  • Hands-on experience with Large Language Model (LLM) platforms (e.g., GPT-based tools, classified AI environments)  
  • Working knowledge of defense intelligence analysis product lines and standards, and customer requirements across the Combatant Command (CCMD) and National Intelligence Community (IC) enterprise 
  • Expert knowledge of customer processes, programs, and policies across the Defense Intelligence Enterprise, including familiarity with OUSD(I&S), CCMD J2 requirements, and IC analytic community standards 
  • Proven ability to communicate complex AI/ML-enabled analytic findings to senior and executive-level government officials through clear, logical, and concise written products and oral briefings 
  • Superior organizational and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to interface effectively across all levels of government, including SES, Flag Officer, and Senior Executive stakeholders, via written and oral forums 
  • Ability to research and evaluate emerging AI/ML technologies for integration into intelligence workflows, including participation in pilot programs, capability assessments, and analytic modernization initiatives

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Intelligence Studies, Data Science, Computer Science, Political Science, or equivalent)

Target Salary Range$176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
