Job Summary
The Senior Analyst, Business Intelligence serves as the bridge between manufacturing operations, business processes, and digital technologies. This position is responsible for logistics automation in relation to digital solutions. This role analyzes operational and supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for continuous improvement. Working closely with manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, IT, and business stakeholders, the role ensures that data is transformed into meaningful intelligence that supports strategic and operational objectives.
Essential functions of the job
Manufacturing & Operations Support
  • Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for performance improvement.
  • Support production teams through data analysis, KPI monitoring, and process optimization initiatives.
  • Collaborate with plant management, production supervisors, quality, logistics, and engineering teams.
  • Monitor operational performance indicators and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Support implementation and continuous improvement of production control processes.

Manufacturing Systems & Digitalization
  • Support and enhance Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
  • Digitalization of logistic systems such as AGV, vertical warehouse, material flow, stock.
  • Act as a liaison between Operations and IT developers.
  • Support integration between MES, ERP, quality, supply chain, and reporting systems.

Data Analytics & Business Intelligence
  • Support end users to analyze production data.
  • Define requirements to create reports and visualizations using Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
  • Transform operational data into actionable insights for management.

Supply Chain & Logistics Support
  • Develop and understanding of material flow and supply chain processes.
  • Support analysis of inventory, production planning, and logistics performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with logistics and planning teams to improve operational efficiency.

Regional Support & Travel
  • Provide support to manufacturing facilities throughout the USA and Mexico. European travel is not ruled out and could occasionally take place.
  • Travel to plant locations for system implementations, workshops, training, and operational assessments.
  • Support cross-functional and international project teams.

Required education
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Information Systems, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or a related field.

Required qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience within the Automotive Supplier Industry preferred.
  • Experience with manufacturing operations, production control, or operational excellence initiatives.
  • Exposure to Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and production environments.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes.
  • Knowledge of production KPIs, OEE, downtime analysis, scrap reduction, and productivity metrics.

  • Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing operations.
  • Familiarity with automotive standards and processes.
