What Impact You'll Have

GRVTY is searching for personnel experienced in Business Intelligence, specifically Strategy (MicroStrategy) Developers and Architects. The preferred candidate will facilitate the identification, definition, and documentation of client needs and will decide as to which Business Intelligence/Strategy functionality will best support the customer's long and short-term needs. The candidate must be able to create supporting metadata objects, reports and dashboards using the latest version of Strategy, as well as acting as client liaison to support ad hoc demonstrations and interactive design sessions with clients. The preferred candidate will act as part analyst/part developer/part architect and will be working with clients extensively. Day-to-day expectations are to work as part of a scrum agile team to design, configure, troubleshoot, and develop Strategy products in line with client requirements.

What You'll be Owning

  • Identify, define, and document client business intelligence needs
  • Determine which Strategy functionality best supports short- and long-term goals
  • Build metadata objects, reports, and dashboards using the latest version of Strategy
  • Act as client liaison during ad hoc demonstrations and design sessions
  • Design, configure, troubleshoot, and develop Strategy products within a Scrum team
  • Balance analyst, developer, and architect responsibilities across client engagements
  • Communicate clearly and solve problems with clients and teammates

What You Must Have

  • Must have an active US government top secret clearance to be eligible. No exceptions.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience developing and supporting Business Intelligence applications, specifically Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy), including SDK and RestAPI (mstrio-Py) utilization
  • Serve as Strategy SME, guiding architecture and identifying efficiencies across platform capabilities (Mosaic, HyperIntelligence cards, etc.)
  • Experience with Strategy Workstation, including dynamic dossiers, report development, and project design (facts, attributes, hierarchies, aggregation, portal integration)
  • Experience with Strategy schema definition, design, implementation, and maintenance
  • Experience reviewing and enhancing logical and physical database designs, including relational structures, dimensional data modeling, and data warehousing
  • Experience developing application objects, including metrics, templates, and filters
  • Experience with client-server and cloud-based architectures
  • Experience using SQL to profile, test, and report data

What Would be Nice to Have

  • Experience configuring, governing, troubleshooting, and tuning the Intelligence Server
  • Experience with Strategy Security Administration
  • Experience with Strategy Workstation as a replacement for legacy Developer tools
