Job description

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as a liaison between executives, the IT/Business Intelligence Scrum Team, and technology solution providers, leveraging IT-generated data to oversee the selection and implementation of business needs into BI solutions as a Business Intelligence Analyst

  • Deliver design documents throughout the SDLC, including requirement gathering, analysis, design, testing, deployment, and support maintenance

  • Build strong relationships with business clients and the Product Owner, acting as a liaison between the business community and the technical team

  • Assist the Product Owner in prioritizing competing projects across multiple business functions to create effective roadmaps and timelines

  • Analyze change requests for feasibility concerning existing business requirements and processes, ensuring alignment with strategic initiatives

  • Collaborate with business partners to develop acceptance criteria and test cases, facilitating comprehensive test planning and application testing

  • Maintain thorough documentation of business and technical application requirements, including data requirements and source systems involved for project feasibility assessment

  • Other duties as assigned 

Required Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related and 2 to 4 years of related experience or High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) and 5 to 7 plus years of specific experience

  • Strong understanding of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing concepts, with knowledge of ETL and reporting tools, and moderate SQL skills 

Preferred Education and Experience: 

  • Master’s Degree

  • 2 plus years as a business, technical or systems analyst

  • 3 plus years of general IT experience

  • Experience in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing using tools like Azure, ADF, Snowflake, and Power BI, with knowledge of various development methodologies, preferably Agile
