Position Summary

Defense Acquisition Support Services (DAS) is seeking a motivated Data Engineer to support complex analytics initiatives for government clients. This role will develop business intelligence solutions, build impactful dashboards and reports, manage client relationships, and deliver data-driven insights that support mission success across a growing analytics portfolio.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Secret Security Clearance (Required)
  • 24 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Power BI, including:
  • Data modeling (star schema, relationships, cardinality)
  • Dashboard and report development
  • DAX measures and calculations
  • Power Query and Dataflows
  • Experience with Power Automate
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including SharePoint, Teams, and Excel

Desired Skills

  • Strong presentation skills with experience briefing executive leadership
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement experience
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
