Sigma Inc is currently looking for a Business Intelligence Developer Senior to work with our client in Irving, TX
Summary:

  • The Business Intelligence Developer Senior leads complex BI projects, drives data solutions, and provides mentorship to junior developers. This role is responsible for optimizing data pipelines and ensuring best practices in BI development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meets expectations of the applicable Client Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
  • Own the design, development, and optimization of BI solutions.
  • Develop and maintain scalable BI solutions that support business objectives.
  • Create complex data models and reporting structures to enhance decision-making.
  • Build real-time dashboards to track KPIs and operational performance.
  • Write and refine advanced SQL scripts for data manipulation and reporting.
  • Collaborate with business units to identify analytical requirements and translate them into BI solutions.
  • Perform deep-dive data analysis to uncover insights and trends.
  • Enforce best practices in data governance, quality, and security.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex BI-related issues efficiently.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior BI developers.
  • Stay up to date with emerging BI technologies and methodologies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Technology, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field is required
  • Master's degree in computer science, Technology, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field is preferred
  • Around 8 years of experience in IT with a focus on business intelligence, data modeling, and analytics required
