Overview

We are seeking a detailoriented and datadriven Business Intelligence Analyst to support our product distribution operations through advanced reporting, analytics, and data modeling. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL capabilities, experience with BI tools, and a strong understanding of distribution and supply chain workflows. This role will play a critical part in turning operational data into actionable insights that improve efficiency, forecast performance, and support strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analytics & Reporting

  • Develop, automate, and maintain dashboards and performance reports that support distribution, logistics, and product lifecycle teams.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for operational improvements.
  • Create forecasts, KPIs, and performance models to support demand planning, inventory management, and process optimization.
  • Translate data into compelling visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

SQL & Data Management

  • Write complex SQL queries to extract, cleanse, and transform data from multiple systems (ERP, WMS, CRM, etc.).
  • Partner with data engineering teams to enhance data quality, structure, and accessibility.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across analytical models and operational systems.

Business & Distribution Insights

  • Work closely with distribution, operations, and sales stakeholders to understand business processes and information needs.
  • Support initiatives related to warehousing efficiency, product flow, order accuracy, and transportation performance.

CrossFunctional Collaboration

  • Communicate data findings and recommendations to leadership through clear storytelling.
  • Assist in the development of new business processes, analytics standards, and data governance frameworks.
  • Collaborate with IT and operational teams to improve system integrations and workflows.
 

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a BI Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
  • Strong SQL skills.
  • Experience using BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Qlik, etc.).
  • Demonstrated experience working with product distribution, logistics, supply chain, or fulfillment operations.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and ETL workflows.
  • Ability to turn complex datasets into clear insights for nontechnical stakeholders.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with ERP (Epicor Eclipse) and WMS systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, Manhattan, etc.).
  • Advanced Excel skills (PowerQuery, PowerPivot, macros).
  • Familiarity with AI tools for data analytics.
