Overview

Lead a cross-functional group of direct reports in the practice of Business Intelligence and Data Management. Deliver the following capabilities now or in the future: data integration, data warehousing, business intelligence and analytic tools, data quality management, master data management, data lakes, data marts, data vitalization, metadata management, data lifecycle management, and technology to support efficient processing of large data sets. Deliver supporting capabilities to other functions: data science, predictive analytics, risk management, operational reporting, report writing, data governance, data stewardship, application integration, or integration platforms. Accountable for Business Intelligence strategic plan, vision, business cases, steering committee priority and plan, funding and budget requests, measurement of return on investment, uptime, availability, and ultimate success of Business Intelligence in the business.


Responsibilities
  • Lead a group of direct reports to design, develop, test, maintain, align and translate sales, transactional, performance, marketing and operating data into actionable insights that improve day-to-day execution and informs management decisions.
  • Strong leadership and vision for how to drive a Business Intelligence team to create changes in business partnerships, analytics, and metrics/reporting.
  • Support senior leaders as a liaison between business units and other business intelligence organizations.
  • Lead the analytics for cross-functional projects across multiple geographies working with senior business leaders on major initiatives.
  • Define and execute a strategic plan and vision for data integirty, territory optimization and business intelligence that aligns with business strategy and vision.
  • Leads development of reporting tools, reporting improvement and automation worldwide, and create new innovative and insightful reports in a timely manner.
  • Manage Sales Business Intelligence stewards and steering committees.
  • Set standards for technology and business processes and manage to those standards.
  • Develops reporting and analytics models to support sales inactive tracking and measurment

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or closely related discipline - Preferred
  • 7 years of experience in Information Technology leadership, system design, and application development.
  • 3 years of experience in Leading others.

Compensation
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $116,200-$182,600 annually. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
