What You Will Do:

  • Develop dashboards, analytic products, and decision-support tools that transform complex mission data into clear, actionable insights for government stakeholders.

  • Engage directly with operational and leadership personnel to gather requirements, refine analytic needs, and iterate solutions to ensure mission alignment.

  • Prepare, clean, integrate, and model structured and unstructured data from diverse systems to enable reliable analytics and reporting.

  • Build, optimize, and sustain analytic workflows and data pipelines within Databricks (mandatory), including notebooks, delta tables, automated jobs, and transformations supporting mission operations.

  • Create user-centered dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik (preferred for all tracks).

  • Document analytic logic, workflow processes, and dashboard design decisions to support continuity and long-term maintainability.

  • Conduct quality assurance, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve analytic products based on stakeholder feedback and mission requirements.

  • Provide embedded analytic support when needed, delivering rapid-turn analysis and operational insights directly within mission environments.

  • Collaborate across engineering, analytics, data science, and mission support teams to ensure solutions directly contribute to program objectives.

  • Support RFP-aligned technical workstreams through the development of dashboards, embedded analysis, reporting, and data-driven decision-support tools.


What You Will Need:

  • Active Secret clearance

  • Experience developing dashboards and data visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.

  • Ability to translate stakeholder and mission requirements into technical specifications and actionable analytic products.

  • Experience preparing, cleaning, integrating, and modeling data in enterprise or mission environments.

  • Strong communication skills and proven ability to work closely with cross-functional technical and mission teams.

  • Ability to work either on-site at a government facility in Washington, DC or Northern Virginia, or remote, depending on project needs.


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Experience supporting defense, readiness, operational personnel, or enterprise analytics missions.

  • Familiarity with Python, SQL, or Spark for analytics development within Databricks.

  • Experience supporting large-scale analytics, BI solutions, or mission decision-support systems.

  • Background working with data governance, metadata management, or structured quality frameworks.

  • Experience optimizing dashboards for performance, usability, accessibility, and mission relevance.

  • Experience providing embedded analytic support, producing rapid-turn insights, or briefing mission leadership.

The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
