Job description

Business Relationships / Capture Manager (in-house title)

Many companies build and protect...no one does it like Nteligen.

We believe that data is essential to solving problems, and getting data to the people who need it most is essential to our security. For nearly two decades, Nteligen has been engineering resiliency for corporate and Federal government customers. We protect national security by reducing the risk of sharing information.

Nteligen is a technology company that works with Government and Commercial Clients on their challenging information-sharing problems. We do everything from creating Government Policies and Secure Information Sharing to Data Risk Mitigation, Thought Leadership, Cyber Strategies, and Resilient Software Engineering.

We are seeking a relationship-builder and highly analytical and results-driven capture manager for both government and commercial contracts. This role is responsible for analyzing current and future work using cross-domain solutions (CDS), and cultivating relationships that will foster conversations on how Nteligen can serve government mission-critical work as well as support commercial vendors with their products.

Before we go any further in this conversation, we have deal-breakers. You must meet all of the following criteria before applying.

A higher than public trust clearance or be clearable to higher clearance levels. Note: One must be a US citizen to obtain these clearances.

Engineering background/mindset and knowledge of IT security concepts

Demonstrated experience in effective network and relationship management

Project Manager experience with government contracting

Successful business development and capture in the DoD and IC arenas

Ability to work a hybrid schedule at our office in Columbia, MD, and travel up to one week per month

Now that we have that out of the way, let's talk about everyday life in this role at Nteligen. The work you provide to our customers is mission-critical, and you join many others in helping to optimize and keep safe the systems that protect data, people, and places.

Some of the day-to-day responsibilities you will perform include:

Business Development

Strategize on how to acquire, develop, and retain company relationships.

Create and maintain business development processes and procedures

Attend and/or present at industry meetings and conferences to cultivate and  maintain awareness of future opportunities

Extend the company's footprint across IDIQ, GWAC, and other foundational contract vehicles

Produce and pitch new revenue-producing business ideas to leadership.

Capture

Create and maintain Capture process and procedures.

Identify and support the Capture Team for qualified opportunities.

Facilitate the coordination of the Capture Team roles, including contracts, proposal writing, technical SMEs, etc.

In order to be successful in this role, you will have:

Demonstrated experience in understanding complex business environments, including technology and process

Experience working with Governmental Policy as a project manager, along with experience managing a Capture

Successful business development and capture in the DoD and IC arenas

It would be great if you have a PMP certification or can obtain one.

Important note: we are not seeking contracts to just enhance revenue. We are seeking to continue to do our best work to enhance national security by reducing the risk of sharing information.

We're glad you're still reading.

If you can work closely with everyone from engineers to leadership to grow a company's footprint with Cross Domain Solutions, please apply now!

We'll discuss the day-to-day, highs and lows of this role and answer questions in your first interview.

Compensation: There are many company benefits, including low-cost coinsurance for medical coverage, 401(k) matching contributions, PTO and paid holidays, and more.

The base salary range for this role is $125,000-150,000 plus win fees.
