Marketing & Business Development Associate

ServiceMaster Restore of the Fraser Valley is a trusted leader in disaster restoration services, providing emergency response and reconstruction for residential and commercial properties affected by fire, water, mold, and other damage. As part of the ServiceMaster Restore network, we are committed to delivering professional, reliable, and timely restoration services with a focus on customer care and integrity.
Position Summary:

The Marketing & Business Development Associate plays a key role in maintaining and expanding our presence in the Fraser Valley. This role involves building relationships with industry partners, coordinating events and CE classes, managing our digital reputation, and supporting internal marketing and operational initiatives. You'll work closely with leadership, project managers, and external contacts to keep our brand strong and our outreach effective.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct weekly route visits to insurance brokers offices.
  • Research industry professionals and organizations (e.g., adjusters, brokers, property managers) to identify outreach opportunities.
  • Maintain an up-to-date contact database in the CRM, logging visits, interactions, and follow-ups.
  • Attend and represent ServiceMaster at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
  • Assist in planning all in-house events and CE (Continuing Education) classes.
  • Manage all Google Reviews, responding promptly and professionally to customer feedback.
  • Support project managers by booking reservations for business lunches, purchasing tickets, and arranging logistics.
  • Create and maintain regular marketing and activity reports using our CRM software.
  • Coordinate digital marketing efforts, including social media, email campaigns, and website content.
  • Prepare and deliver bi-weekly report to General Manager on the Friday prior to the PM meeting on Tuesdays. 
  • Attend weekly meetings with the sales team and General Manager to align efforts and share updates (20 minutes).
Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field is an asset.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, sales, or business development (experience in restoration or construction industry an asset).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive, results-driven mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital marketing tools (e.g., social media, email platforms, CRM systems).
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
