Job description


Job Duties: Associate, Business Development Professional with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Miami, Florida. Work alongside private wealth advisors to support and implement wealth management strategies for clients in Latin America and Florida. Develop and prepare marketing presentations for prospective clients, and source new clients through cold outreach in both English and Spanish.Analyze investment portfolios for risk and return characteristics.Execute portfolio rebalancing and trades.Research internal and external investment vehicles for client asset allocation, specifically related to their location, whether in the US or in Latin America.Serve as team's client relationship management system expert.Participate in team's prospective client meetings and follow up as appropriate for clients in Latin America and the US.Guide new business team meetings and associated action items.Relay research and market views to private wealth advisors, clients, and prospective clients, specifically tailoring them to their respective locations in Latin America or the US.Liaise with various product groups to respond to client needs, tailoring the approach to the client's specific needs depending on location.
Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or related analytical or engineering field such as Industrial Engineering, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior employment must include two (2) years of experience with: financial markets and investment analytics, specifically relating to US, Non-US Developed, and / or Emerging Markets equities, fixed income, and/ or other asset classes directly impacting client assets; presenting and communicating, verbally and written, current macroeconomic and financial environments, views and forecasts, to existing and prospective clients and stakeholders in both English and Spanish; Excel, PowerPoint, and other applications used for the structuring, pricing, and display of information regarding client's assets; market facing systems including Bloomberg or Refinitiv to execute transactions daily; and client facing trade execution in both US Markets and International Markets, such as the Mexican Stock Exchange. Fluency in Spanish required to provide financial and investment advice to clients in Latin America, whose native language is Spanish and whose needs must be tailored to their specific location.
