The Business and Integration Analyst hasย the responsibilityย to provide expert integration consulting, business process definition, and integration services for implementation of the Landis+Gyrย Gridstreamย MDMS solutions. The success of this position is measured by rating customer satisfaction, managing the development of the customer's software definitional requirements, accomplishing the necessary data integrations to match the utility needs, and managing the customer's issues within the Company and directly with the client for resolution.ย 

Develop a comprehensive knowledge base for: the Company's application, the data contained within, and the standard interface options supported by L + G Technology. Build a general base of utility knowledge and conduct the Company's business in a positive, professional, and enthusiastic manner.ย 

Key Responsibilities ย  ย  ย  ย 

    • Consulting onย Landis+Gyr'sย standard interface options to generate application data to solve the Utility's vertical application integration requirements or support the client to make changes in their business practices to adopt new methods to use L+G's Interfaces toย accomplishย their business objectives ย 

    • Configuring properย Gridsteamย MDMS integration within L+G's "Standard Integration Interfaces", testing and validating interface data exchanges and managing projects usingย Landis+Gyr'sย OTA project lifecycle to ensure qualityย 

    • Managing test environments for both internal and external customers including functional system operation and integration testingย 

    • Developing andย maintainingย the standard Landis + Gyr System Validation Test Suiteย 

    • Work with the customer to define and scope their integration and functionality requirementsย 

    • Provide onsite support for customer's technical teams to develop their MDMS business integration rules andย process flow to match the Company's standard MDMS integration data setsย 

    • Write system integration planning and implementation documentationย 

    • Ensure integration plan, schedule and interfaces meet the customer deployment requirementsย 

    • Maintain exceptional customer engagement skills with the ability to follow up on requested features and requirements which results in overall scope of expectation and meet the customer's satisfaction expectationsย 

    • Configure Integration interfaces to meet customer needsย 

    • Test integration interfaces and troubleshoot interface defects and propose solutionsย 

    • Provide MDMS Interface enhancement recommendations and any non-standard MDMS Interface requirements to Product Marketing Management so they can include them into new product Introduction process or accept them for custom design for the clientย 

    • Validate partner vendor versioning and alignment of release cycles toย maintainย interoperabilityย 

    • Within the limitations of the Company's standardย interfaces,ย maintainย data exchanges between various vendor partners associatedย toย aย clientย opportunity. Support relationships for data exchanges including multiple AMI, CIS, Bus architectureย companiesย and Han providersย 

    • Consult with the customer on business process directives and recommend Company's solutionsย 

    • Evaluate complex Data Base Architectures and evaluate feasibility of the Company's standard proposed solutionsย 

    • Performs other duties or responsibilities as assigned orย required.ย ย

    Education:ย B.S. in Computer Science or Engineering.ย 

    Experience:ย 

    • 3+ years of business analyst,ย integrationย and functional testing experience.ย ย 

    • 5+ years of MDMS experience preferred.ย ย 

    Preferred Qualifications:ย 

    • Excellent communication, written and organizational skillsย 

    • Team player with excellent problem solving and project management skillsย 

    • Strong leadership skills and technical aptitude that inspire team confidence and respect while motivating team members in a creative and effective mannerย 

    • Experience andย proficientย with SQL, XML, and SOA enabled integration.ย 

    • Working knowledge of Oracle RDBMS and SQLย requiredย 

    • Working knowledge of IEC-CIM 61968 Part 9 andย Multispeakย standards preferredย 

    • Working knowledge of SOA enabled integration using web-services and JMS

    Working Conditions:ย Typical indoor office environment with the majority of time spent sitting and working on a computer usingย keyboard, mouse, and monitor. Occasional use of other devicesย such as:ย phone, copier/printer/fax, etc.ย 

    Driving Status:ย Up to 75% travelย 

    Physical Requirements:ย Typical officeย setting. Required to stand; walk; crouch; or handle objects. Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Ability to sit and view computerย screenย forย long periodsย of time. The ability to see, hear, & speak in English. Pay is in the range of $100,600 - $127,225 per year. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, and certifications or other professional licenses held.
