Job Description:

Business Resilience Senior Consultant

At Crowe LLP, we bring deep industry specialization and functional expertise to help organizations manage cybersecurity risk, protect sensitive information, and strengthen operational and business resilience. We are seeking a Business Resilience Senior Consultant to join our growing team of professionals focused on both starting/implementing business resilience programs as well as performing program maturity assessments and road mapping.

As a Senior Consultant, you will work directly with client stakeholders to understand operational resilience needs; collaborate with engagement team members to plan and execute program implementations and assessments to enable sustainable resilience programs.

What You'll Do

You will play a critical role in delivering business resilience advisory engagements across clients in a variety of industries. Responsibilities include:

  • Lead client engagements in a variety of industries, focused on establishing, enhancing, and maturing Business Resilience, Business Continuity Management (BCM) programs, as well as facilitating Tool/Technology Enablement within programs.
  • Facilitate Business Impact Analyses (BIA), risk assessments, critical process identification, and dependency mapping across client organizations/departments.
  • Facilitate the development of Business Continuity Plans (BCP) across client organizations to improve organizational preparedness and recovery capabilities.
  • Support clients in establishing technology enablement, resilience metrics, reporting dashboards, testing programs, and ongoing governance processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional client teams, including risk management, cybersecurity, IT, operations, compliance, and executive leadership, to embed resilience practices across the enterprise.
  • Planning and executing cybersecurity and business resilience/BCP maturity assessments and strategic roadmaps across domains, including:
    • Business continuity and operational resilience
    • Disaster recovery planning
    • Crisis management
    • Plan testing
    • Third-party operational resilience
    • Incident response planning
  • Lead and participate in client BCP tabletop sessions with leaders from operational areas of the business up to executive leadership.
  • Mentor and supervise junior consultants; contribute to team development and internal knowledge-sharing.
  • Preparing clear, thorough documentation, reports, and deliverables independently and on schedule.
  • Maintaining engagement quality and responsiveness throughout the delivery lifecycle, ensuring client confidence and satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of total professional experience, including:
    • At least 2 years of hands-on experience delivering business resilience program implementations and assessments.
  • Strong working knowledge of:
    • Operational Resilience concepts such as BIA, BCP, DRP
    • BCP tabletop facilitation
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage engagements from planning through deliverables with limited oversight.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in documenting observations and explaining results to diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • One or more relevant professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CBCP, or equivalent)
  • Experience with Operational/Business Resilience tools and GRC platforms.
  • Prior experience at a public accounting or advisory firm delivering business resilience services to mid-to-large organizations across a variety of industries.
  • Experience with Cybersecurity assessments and controls including regulatory requirements and industry frameworks.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,500.00 - $159,300.00 per year.
