JOB SUMMARY:
The Director Enterprise Data & Analytics is responsible for leading the organization's data strategy, analytics, reporting, governance, and data engineering functions. This role partners across executive, technical, financial, clinical, and operational teams to deliver trusted data, scalable analytics, reporting modernization, and AI-enabled decision-making support that advances operational excellence, regulatory confidence, and long-term business success.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversee enterprise analytics, business intelligence, corporate reporting, data governance, data quality, and data engineering.
  • Oversee modern data platforms, enterprise data architecture, self-service analytics, predictive analytics, automation, and AI readiness.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain the Enterprise Data & Analytics strategy by establishing policies, standards, and best practices for analytics, reporting, governance, and data engineering while advancing data-driven decision-making and evaluating emerging technologies.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor managers and technical professionals while fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, customer service, and continuous learning.
  • Serve as the primary business partner to executive leadership on enterprise data and business intelligence initiatives, while advancing innovation, automation, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled decision support.
  • Collaborate across Finance, IT, Clinical Operations, Medical Management, Network Management, Compliance, and other business areas to align enterprise analytics priorities.
  • Provide strategic leadership for modernization initiatives involving cloud technologies, enterprise reporting, data architecture, and analytics; partner with IT to ensure enterprise systems support scalable reporting and analytics.
  • Manage departmental budgets, establish performance metrics, prioritize resources, and ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with data governance, compliance, and security teams to ensure reporting solutions meet HIPAA, CMS, and state regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other related job duties as required or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to translate complex healthcare data into clear, meaningful insights for non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to deliver trusted, timely, and actionable information.
  • Proven success in the execution of enterprise data modernization initiatives.
  • Ability to improve reporting consistency, data quality, and stakeholder confidence.
  • Proven success in increasing adoption of self-service analytics and modern business intelligence.
  • Ability to develop a high-performing Enterprise Data & Analytics organization.
  • Successful completion of Health Care Sanctions background check.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Seven years of progressive experience in enterprise analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, healthcare analytics, or related disciplines.
  • Three years of leadership experience managing analytical, reporting, engineering, or business intelligence teams.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, security, and enterprise deployments.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare data domains (claims, eligibility, providers, quality, finance, utilization).
  • Demonstrated experience leading enterprise technology initiatives, organizational strategy, and cross-functional teams.
  • Advance enterprise data maturity and governance.
  • Three years of managed healthcare experience preferred.
  • Prior Executive and Board reporting experience preferred.
  • Prior enterprise data modernization and governance experience preferred.
