Job description

We are seeking a Senior IT Business Application Analyst to serve as the subject matter expert in enterprise business applications team.   This position aligns JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and related systems with business objectives, leads enterprise initiatives, streamline processes, and supports digital transformation.
The ideal candidate brings deep JD Edwards EnterpriseOne expertise, strong knowledge of manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution processes, and a proven ability to lead strategic technology initiatives across business functions. Experience with Warehouse Management platforms (WMS), distribution strategies, AI-enablement, Agile practices, and enterprise application transformation is strongly preferred.

This role is required to travel approximately 20% depending upon business needs and is a hybrid position spending at least 3 days/week on-site at our corporate headquarters. 

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship, and relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Application Strategy & Leadership

  • Serve as a senior advisor and subject matter expert on enterprise applications and business processes.
  • Lead the design of scalable, integrated solutions that align technology investments with business goals.
  • Develop and maintain solution roadmaps that support enterprise priorities and long-term strategy.
  • Translate business strategy into technology solutions that improve efficiency and deliver measurable value.

Project & Initiative Leadership

  • Lead the functional delivery of large, high-impact business application projects.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver technology solutions successfully.
  • Defining business cases, set success metrics, and measure value realization for business-led initiatives.
  • Drive enterprise process improvements and application enhancements.

Application Support & Governance

  • Lead resolution of escalated, high-severity application issues in partnership with internal teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure issue resolution is timely, compliant, and sustainable.
  • Ensure enhancements and implementations comply with IT governance, change management, and audit requirements.
  • Participate in review boards, steering committees, and governance forums as needed.

Automation & Innovation

  • Lead the evaluation and adoption of automation and AI-enabled technologies across business processes and enterprise applications.
  • Partner with business and technical teams to identify automation and operational improvement opportunities.
  • Assess emerging technologies and recommend solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and user experience.
  • Support digital transformation through modern technologies and process optimization.

Mentorship & Continuous Improvement

  • Mentor analysts by sharing expertise in enterprise applications, business processes, and solution design.
  • Review work products and provide guidance on business analysis methods and best practices.
  • Promote continuous improvement through process optimization, knowledge sharing, and innovation.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies, industry trends, and application best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 6-10 years of JD Edwards ERP software experience, business systems analysis, & application configuration & management.
  • Experience leading enterprise application initiatives using JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or supply chain processes.
  • Advanced knowledge of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne ERP.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Warehouse Management processes and technologies, process optimization tools, and AI-enabled business solutions.
  • Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and ITIL practices.
