Briggs & Riley is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and highly motivated Communications Manager to help amplify one of the most respected brands in the premium travel industry. What to Expect

Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, you'll lead initiatives across public relations, social media, and strategic partnerships, helping to strengthen Briggs & Riley's brand reputation and expand our reach among consumers, media, influencers, and industry partners.

Your Impact

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Public Relations

  • Lead the PR strategy to elevate Briggs & Riley's presence within the premium travel and lifestyle space. 
  • Manage our PR agency to secure impactful media coverage, develop compelling brand stories, and identify proactive press opportunities. 
  • Monitor industry trends, manage media reporting and KPIs, and support reactive communications and crisis management when needed. 
  • Drive award submissions, licensing, and promotion across Marketing and Sales. 
  • Develop media materials, executive visibility programs, speaking opportunities, and spokesperson preparation. 

Social Media

  • Develop and execute social-first communication strategies that strengthen brand awareness and customer engagement. 
  • Oversee all brand activity across social platforms, ensuring consistency in content, messaging, and visual identity. 
  • Partner with our social agency to manage content calendars, product launches, and always-on storytelling. 
  • Lead influencer, creator, and UGC programs that align with the brand and resonate with target audiences. 
  • Analyze performance, manage KPIs, and provide actionable insights to optimize engagement. 

Brand Partnerships

  • Identify, evaluate, and activate strategic partnerships that expand brand reach and support business objectives. 
  • Manage partnership planning, budgets, execution, and cross-functional communication. 
  • Assess inbound opportunities through the lens of brand-fit and ROI.

 

What You Bring

  • BA in Marketing, Communications, or other Business Management areas. 
  • 7+ years of experience in a corporate communications function and experience with public relations. Experience at a PR agency is preferred.
  • Must have experience with social media content management, including UGC and influencer campaigns.
  • Digital-first mindset and adaptability to AI tools that support your work. 
  • Experience in partnership contract negotiations as well as imagery and video asset conversations for social first use.
  • Ability to manage projects to completion, including coordinating across internal functions.
  • Experience with press/media management, social media content creation, vendor management, brand awareness/management.
  • Computer programs/software – MS Office
  • Travel expectations ~20%

Schedule

  • Full Time, 9 am – 5 pm EST or 8/8:30 – 4/4:30 EST
  • Hybrid Schedule- Tuesday – Thursday onsite in the Hauppauge Office, Monday & Friday remote!
