Business Change Management Analyst

The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space, and Security (BDS) Sapphire is looking for a dynamic Business Change Management Analyst to join the team in Berkeley, Missouri; Arlington, Virginia; El Segundo, California; Houston, Texas; Huntington Beach, California; Huntsville, Alabama; Mesa, Arizona; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; San Antonio, Texas; Ridley Park, Pennsylvania; Plano, Texas; Seal Beach, California; or Seattle, Washington.

The selected candidate will prepare the BDS enterprise for the modernization of its foundational systems through the conversion to the Sapphire system of systems, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). This role is essential for ensuring a smooth transition and fostering a culture of adaptability and engagement across the organization.

Systems, Tools & Integration (ST&I) organization supports multiple systems, tools, and key functional organizations, as they enable Boeing business partner leaders to deliver our products and services to our customers. From building a better digital experience, to designing faster and more accurate manufacturing analytics, our products touch every aspect of our business.

BDS is modernizing its foundational product lifecycle management (PLM), manufacturing operations management (MOM), and enterprise resources planning (ERP) systems; enhancing its data strategies; and improving the alignment of its execution processes via a program called Sapphire that is a joint effort between BDS and IDT&S.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive change management strategy that addresses the unique challenges and opportunities associated with the modernization of the Sapphire systems along with the integrations with our legacy systems.
  • Establish detailed training plans to equip employees with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively utilize the new Sapphire systems, which includes designing training materials, scheduling sessions, and evaluating training effectiveness
  • Create and execute communication plans to keep all stakeholders informed about the modernization process, including objectives, timelines, and expected outcomes
  • Ensure that communication is clear, consistent, and tailored to various audiences
  • Collaborate with program leaders, project managers, and other stakeholders to identify change impacts and develop strategies to address resistance and foster buy-in for the new systems
  • Implement feedback mechanisms to gather insights from employees regarding the change process, using this information to make necessary adjustments and improvements
  • Track the progress of change management initiatives, providing regular updates to leadership on the status of training, communication efforts, and overall employee readiness

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in business and/or organizational change management
  • 5+ years of experience leading a cross-functional team
  • 3+ years of experience in program or project management
  • Capable of traveling 25% of the time

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • Experience with large-scale system implementations
  • Relevant certifications in project or program management
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically 10 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma - $102,850 - $127,050
