A Japanese specialized trading company specializing in aircraft parts in San Diego, California is seeking a Business Development Associate (Sales, Purchasing & Order Management Coordinator).
The company is committed to providing fast and reliable service while maintaining high standards of quality control and customer satisfaction.
<Job Summary>
The Business Development Associate is confident with building new client relationships and maintaining existing ones.
They are responsible for the back-end operations of the aircraft industry.
This includes collecting quotes for aircraft parts from suppliers and presenting them to customers in Japan.
<Responsibilities>
1. Supplier Management
・Communicate directly with suppliers.
・Confirm inventory availability, pricing, and lead times for aircraft parts.
・Send Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to suppliers.
・Identify and develop new suppliers.
・Maintain relationships with existing suppliers.
・Research suppliers and inventory sources for required aircraft parts.
2. Quotation & Parts Research
・Source aircraft parts requested by customers.
・Research part numbers, specifications, and other relevant information.
・Obtain quotations from suppliers.
・Organize quotation details and present them to customers in Japan.
・Verify pricing, lead times, and part information.
3. Order & Delivery Management
・Place purchase orders with suppliers.
・Track order status.
・Manage shipping and delivery schedules.
・Follow up to ensure on-time delivery.
・Investigate and coordinate solutions for delays or other issues.
4. Administrative & Team Support
・Perform data entry.
・Organize and maintain documents and files.
・Maintain records related to RFQs and purchase orders.
・Support team members with daily operations.

・Perform other related duties as assigned.
