Job description

Natilus is seeking a highly organized, proactive Business Operations Associate to support day-to-day business operations and help keep cross-functional initiatives moving forward. This role will work closely with company leadership and department heads, providing operational, administrative, marketing, and business development support across the organization.
The ideal candidate is resourceful, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities can shift quickly. This person will take ownership of coordination and administrative processes, anticipate needs, and help ensure teams have the information, materials, and support needed to execute effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain the company CRM, including business development activity, opportunities, contacts, and follow-up.
  • Support the development of proposals, presentations, pitch decks, and other business and marketing materials.
  • Coordinate meetings, conferences, tradeshows, and other company events, including logistics and materials.
  • Provide operational and administrative support across Finance, supplier and vendor management, contracts, and general business operations.
  • Maintain organized business records, contracts, documentation, and shared resources.
  • Provide cross-functional support to department heads and assist with projects and priorities as business needs arise

Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in business operations, project coordination, executive/administrative support, marketing coordination, or a related role. Startup experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Familiar with government contract support
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Teams.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and maintaining accurate business data.
  • Ability to create and format polished presentations and business materials.
  • Comfortable working across multiple departments and interacting with employees at all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and limited direction.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with government contracting processes, documentation, and compliance requirements
  • Experience working in a startup
