Supports daily operations in a fast-paced Consumer Finance/Tax Preparation Service environment. Provides customer service, various types of past due loan collections, loan solicitation and processing, credit assessment, tax preparation & and tax advance services. Takes & reviews loan applications, assesses credit risks, sound judgment to approve or deny credit, promotes Loan Central products and services. Maintains accuracy & safeguards confidential information while providing administrative support while managing multiple priorities. Requires strong origination skills, multi-taskers, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team. Software used to perform duties: Compass Technologies, Equifax, TaxSlayer, Smartpay/Profitstars, Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook, Constant Contact, MLA, Paycom & Clearfly, etc.

Originate, assess applicant creditworthiness and risk, verifying information, make sound lending decisions and close tax advances & consumer loans within established lending authority, company policies and applicable legal and regulatory requirements. Evaluate collateral by inspecting & assessing automobiles. Understand basic tax returns & be able to review & discuss tax return information with customers, including tax refund and tax advance details. Collect past-due loan & tax accounts through timely, professional collect efforts, including skip tracing & in-person, telephone, text message, email and written contact. Assist manager with accounts involving litigation, repossessions, bankruptcies, and other escalated collection matters. Conduct business development calls, participate in email, text and direct mail solicitation campaigns, and develop relationship with dealers and business partners to generate loan referrals. Provide exceptional customer service, resolve customer concerns, and identify appropriate solutions to problems. Maintain complete, accurate, and timely customer loan records, including documentation of lending decisions, account activity, and collection contacts. Maintain knowledge of insurance products offered and perform administrative tasks in insurance processing, claims handling & reporting. Safeguard confidential customer information and complying with company policies, internal controls and applicable laws & regulations. Assist Manager with audits, information gathering, & other compliance-related activities. Perform filing, basic office cleaning, and other general office duties as needed. Assist management and colleagues with daily operations & provide guidance and support to other staff members as needed.
