We are excited to launch our next Operations and Distribution Associate cohort starting early November 2026.
Position Description
The Operations and Distribution Associate supports Applied Medical's distribution and supply chain operations through a structured, cross-functional rotational program designed to develop foundational business, systems, and operational expertise. This role provides hands-on exposure to key departments including contracts, pricing, customer relations, field operations, warehouse operations, and shipping. The Operations and Distribution associate contributes to daily operational activities, enterprise system support, and process improvement initiatives while building a strong understanding of end-to-end distribution operations, enterprise resource planning systems, and quality-driven business processes within a medical device manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in a structured rotational program by training and shadowing team members across customer relations, field operations, warehouse operations, shipping, contracts, pricing, business operations, and project management.
  • Learn core business processes and operational workflows by actively supporting day-to-day activities within each department.
  • Complete on-the-job training and workshops to develop technical, analytical, and operational skills.
  • Use enterprise systems and software platforms including Systems, Applications, and Products software and enterprise resource planning and material requirements planning systems.
  • Support and maintain business systems that serve distribution, operations, and customer-facing teams.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities, presenting findings, and supporting implementation efforts.
  • Assist with system implementations and enhancements by participating in testing, documentation, and rollout activities.
  • Perform departmental operational tasks such as processing transactions, running reports, managing projects, and evaluating workflows.
  • Participate in capacity planning efforts by supporting resource analysis and operational planning activities.
  • Learn quality control procedures and standard operating procedures to understand regulatory, compliance, and documentation requirements.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to support enterprise systems and business processes across distribution and operations functions.

Position Requirements
