These internships will begin in Summer 2027 and are typically 4 - 6 months long. The monthly salary ranges from $4,000 to $8,000, based on a candidate's previous experience and educational qualifications 

Responsibilities

The Role:    

As a Summer Business Analyst Intern, Advanced Degree at Arthur D. Little, you will work on well-defined sub-tasks of consulting engagements with the close support and guidance of your case manager.  

The Analyst's role includes:  

  • Extracting key messages from your research in a clear and concise way  
  • Assisting the team in building presentations and reports  
  • Providing input in client meetings regarding your own work  
  • Interacting and collaborating with clients during workshops and interviews

Qualifications

Desired Candidate Profile:   

Analysts are highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and intellectually curious problem-solvers. The Business Analyst Intern, Advanced Degree position requires the ability to think critically about complex processes, analyze data and build models, research new industries and technologies, develop actionable strategies, and communicate recommendations to internal and external clients.  

As a future Business Analyst Intern, you:  

  • Are enrolled in an advanced degree program (Master's, MBA, PhD, etc.) from a top ranked school  
  • Possess the necessary analytical skills  
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills  
  • Have a good sense of professionalism, making you a credible partner in the eyes of the client  
  • Have the right collaborative interpersonal skills to be an effective part of our case teams  
  • Are enthusiastic about contributing, above and beyond casework, to shaping the culture of the firm  
  • Can adapt rapidly to the diverse environments you will be exposed to  
  • Previous internship or relevant experience in strategy consulting, business development, or related fields is a plus 
  • Have U.S.A. work authorization, at least OPT STEM
