Job description

School Bus Driver

Under the supervision of the Bus Driver Foreman Ability to obtain or currently have a CDL and valid state license to drive a school bus.

Humboldt County School district offers paid training for the CDL.

Knowledge of state laws, rules and regulations pertaining to school bus operations and pupil transportation.

Observes all mandatory safety regulations for school buses.

Keeps to a designated route for the purpose of transporting students to and from school and on special trips in accordance with a designated time schedule.

Maintain appropriate student behavior management. Follow H.C.S.D. policies, Bus Driver Policy and the Master Agreement.

Keeps assigned bus clean.

Perform other duties as assigned.
