Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday (2pm-10:30pm)

Requirements

  • At least 1 years’ experience in the diesel maintenance industry.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to obtain CDL within 6 months of hire.
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, including marijuana (THC).
  • Successfully complete background check.

Qualifications

This role demands expertise in diagnosing (1 years’ experience), repairing, and maintaining diesel engines across various engine types and equipment. As a Diesel Mechanic, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and longevity for our 95+ vehicle fleet of motorcoaches.

The ideal candidate will possess mechanical aptitude, a desire to grow, and the ability to follow safety, company, and DOT regulations with minimal supervision—key duties for success in this role, including services such as:

  • Diagnostics and repair on diesel engines (Cummins and Detroit engines preferred).
  • Brakes/steering components
  • Mechanical component diagnostics & repair
  • Vehicle diagnostic software & systems maintenance
  • Maintenance and repair of HVAC systems (EPA Section 608 certification preferred).

Physical Requirements:

  • Stand for extended periods
  • Use hands and fingers to handle or operate tools and controls
  • Reach with arms and hands
  • Lift up to 100lbs
  • Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Walk, climb, or balance (occasional)
  • Talk and hear during communication or diagnostic work (occasional)
