Job description

This shift will be Monday-Friday 9:00AM- 5:30PM with potential weekend work.
What You'll Do:
• Receives, locates, and transfers materials accurately and in a timely manner.
• Adhere to FIFO, FEFO inventory rotation.
• Works in dry, refrigerated and freezer warehouses with appropriate PPE for each.
• Counts and weighs materials and records information.
• Identifies damaged materials and records material shortages.
• Loads and unloads materials onto and from a variety of containers including but not limited to trucks, conveyors, racks, pallets, and/or trays; utilizes appropriate tools to accomplish task.
• Transports incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas utilizing hand truck or Forklift.
• Stacks and assembles materials.
• Perform floor counts when necessary.
• Maintains a safe, clean working environment.
• Participates in quality improvement efforts.
• Performs required administrative tasks; prepares all required reports and correspondence.
• Performs other duties as assigned by manager.

• One to two years related experience preferably in a food production environment
• Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
