Supervisor of Safety and Training - Motor Coach Martz Bus - Hyattsville, MD Martz Bus is a family-owned and operated motor coach transportation company with more than a century of experience in the motor coach industry. We are accepting applications for a Supervisor of Safety and Training to support our Martz Bus - Gold Line operation in Hyattsville, Maryland.The Supervisor of Safety and Training is responsible for the development, delivery, and administration of motor coach operator training programs, including new hire training, recertification, remedial training, and driver skills assessments. This position plays a key role in ensuring operators meet company performance standards and regulatory requirements through effective training, documentation, evaluation, and compliance monitoring.This role conducts both classroom and in-coach training for new and existing motor coach operators, oversees new driver and remediation training programs, maintains training records and certifications, and supports the use of fleet technology and the Learning Management System

The position also supports DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and company safety compliance through audits, inspections, ride-alongs, driver performance evaluations, incident investigations, and required reporting. This position is offering 70k salary. The Supervisor of Safety and Training reports to the Corporate Director of Safety and Training and works closely with operations, human resources, and other departments to support safe, compliant, and effective motor coach operations.

Minimum Qualifications Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least five years of commercial driving experience with a Class B CDL or higher. A valid Class B CDL, or higher, with passenger and air brake endorsements is required.Candidates must also have DOT compliance experience and at least two years of supervisory experience in a training, safety, or compliance-related role. The ideal candidate will have strong presentation and communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple departments
