Job description

Part-Time Driving Instructor, NYS Certified (Automobile)


A driving school seeking a reliable and professional PT Driving Instructor to provide behind-the-wheel training for student drivers in Dutchess County, NY area. This role involves teaching safe driving skills in a company automobile—no CDL required.


Responsibilities:

• Provide in-car driving lessons to student drivers

• Teach safe driving practices in accordance with NYS guidelines

• Maintain a calm, professional, and safety-focused teaching approach

• Complete required documentation for lessons and student progress

MUST be able to work Saturdays and additional hours based on lesson demand (about 8–12 hours/week)


Qualifications:

• NYS Certified Driving Instructor (Automobile), preferred.

• Open to candidates willing to complete the required 30-hour certification course

• Clean and valid NY driver’s license, required

• Prior experience driving a bus, a plus
