A bus driver signing bonus is a financial incentive offered to new bus drivers when they are hired by a company or school district. This bonus is typically paid out after the employee completes certain requirements, such as a probationary period or a set number of working days. Signing bonuses are used to attract qualified candidates in competitive job markets and can vary widely in amount. The purpose is to encourage more applicants to join the organization, especially when there is a shortage of bus drivers.

It's important to carefully review the terms in your offer letter to understand eligibility requirements and payout timelines. You may also need to remain employed for a certain period to retain the full bonus amount.
