What is a bus cleaner?

Bus cleaners are responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the interior and exterior of buses to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for passengers and staff. Their duties typically include sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down seats and windows, removing trash, and sometimes disinfecting high-touch surfaces. They may also perform routine checks for lost property or damage and report maintenance issues to supervisors. Bus cleaners play a key role in maintaining public health standards, especially in high-traffic transit systems.
