We have a team of extraordinary professionals that keep our fleet well-maintained fleet on the road, and always looking its best! Our detailer/cleaners are an integral part of that team. Our motorcoaches are some of the nicest and most pristine equipment on the road and our detailers/cleaners have an important role in keeping our fleet looking good for the next athletic teamโ€™s trip, tour group going on their next adventure, or a chartered event!

Arrow Stage Lines is looking for a part time motorcoach detailer/cleaner for our Kansas City, MO location. Person must be self-motivated, able to work independently, and perform their responsibilites efficiently and effectively with minimum supervision and direction. They must be reliable and work their shifts as scheduled. The basic function of the motorcoach detailer/cleaner is to prepare motorcoaches for the next trip assignment for the comfort and convenience of our passengers.

This is a part time position and the schedule for this position is typically 7:00 pm - 11:30 pm. Work schedule will require evenings and weekends.

Job Duties:

  • Use power sprayers to wash exterior of vehicle.
  • Clean inside of vehicle to include overhead luggage bins, seats, kick panels, footrests, and lavatory area.
  • Clean all windows and window frames.
  • Sweep and mop floors of vehicle.
  • Clean driver compartment area.
  • Ensures miscellaneous finishing touches are completed i.e., wastebaskets are emptied and cleaned, place lost items in lost and found, spray air freshener etc.
  • Performs end of shift procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Reliable transportation and regular attendance. Must be able to work schedule as assigned from beginning to end.
  • Must be able to use the power wash machine and use repetitive motion with machine and wash brushes, squeegees etc.
  • Ability to lift 25-30 pounds.
  • Mechanical knowledge is helpful.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English.
  • Must be able to pay attention to detail.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to work with various cleaning soaps and chemicals.
  • Evening and weekend work is required.
  • Able to work in a team as well as individually.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.


  • This is a physically demanding position requiring our detailers/cleaners to be on their feet most of the time. Must have the ability to open bus bay doors and use pressure washer and wash machine. Will be working in wet, hot, and cold conditions as the seasons change, in a maintenance shop environment.


Required Experience:


  • One year of professional vehicle detailing experience or professional janitorial experience or professional cleaning experience.
