About the Role:
TRUCARING  is looking for a compassionate and experienced Burmese-Speaking & English HHA/Caregiver to join our growing team in Fort Wayne, IN! This is a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients by providing culturally sensitive, high-quality in-home care. Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
  • Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
  • Offer culturally competent care and communication for Burmese-speaking clients
  • Prepare meals, assist with feeding, and monitor nutritional intake
  • Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and errands to maintain a safe home environment
  • Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or condition to supervisors
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
  • Accurately document care activities and maintain client records
Requirements:
  • Fluency in both Burmese and English (spoken and written) is required
  • Current HHA (Home Health Aide) certification or equivalent caregiver experience
  • Prior experience in home care, personal care, or a related healthcare setting
  • Ability to assist with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) and follow care plans
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor
  • Ability to pass a background check and meet state employment requirements
