Role Description This full-time, on-site Mechanical Engineer role is based in Nazareth, PA. The Mechanical Engineer will design and improve bulk material handling conveyor components and systems, with a focus on performance, safety, and reliability. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing mechanical designs and detailed drawings, performing engineering calculations, and using CAD tools to model parts and assemblies. The role involves collaborating with manufacturing and service teams, supporting product installation and troubleshooting, and participating in R&D efforts to enhance existing products and create new solutions. The Mechanical Engineer will also assist in project planning, documentation, and coordination to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of engineered solutions.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering with experience in industrial machinery or material handling equipment.
  • Proficiency in Machine Design and mechanical analysis for components and systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for 3D modeling and drafting.
  • Ability to manage engineering projects, including planning, scheduling, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Experience in Research and Development (R&D), including prototyping, testing, and continuous product improvement.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on safety and reliability.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site, manufacturing-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with conveyors, bulk material handling, or similar industrial applications is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, standards, and specifications.
