Job Summary:

Just Play is seeking a hands on Building Supervisor to join our team. The role is responsible for routine maintenance, basic repairs, and day-to-day building operations. The position will also coordinate and oversee third-party vendors for specialized work, ensuring quality, timeliness, and cost control.


Principal Responsibilities:

Building Maintenance

  • Oversee all preventative and corrective maintenance activities across the facility
  • Coordinate maintenance schedules to minimize operational risk and disruption
  • Perform basic repairs including:
    • Minor plumbing (leaks, fixtures)
    • Basic electrical (lighting, ballast replacement)
    • General carpentry and patch/paint
  • Conduct routine inspections of building systems and common areas
  • Handle preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime
  • Track work orders and maintenance activities
  • Communicate building needs and updates to ownership/management

Vendor Coordination

  • Manage relationships with third-party service providers and ensure service quality and accountability
  • Schedule and oversee vendors for:
    • HVAC service and repairs
    • Electrical or plumbing beyond basic scope
    • Janitorial, landscaping, and other contracted services
  • Obtain quotes and communicate recommendations to management

Tenant Support

  • Respond to tenant maintenance requests in a timely manner
  • Serve as on-site point of contact for day-to-day issues
  • Coordinate access for vendor work in tenant spaces

Compliance & Safety

  • Maintain a safe and clean building environment
  • Ensure adherence to basic safety standards and company policies
  • Report any major risks or repair needs proactively





Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3โ€“5+ years of hands-on maintenance experience (commercial preferred)
  • Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
  • Ability to perform physical tasks associated with building maintenance, including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Strong problem-solving and reliability
  • Comfortable coordinating and managing building vendor relationships
  • Ability to work independently and be on-call for minor emergencies
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Fluency in English (both written and verbal).
