Job description

The Nelda C. and H.J. Lutcher Stark Foundation is looking to hire a full time Building Services Technician to provide general building maintenance services for all Stark Foundation properties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides skilled and unskilled carpentry work for all Stark Foundation properties
  • Installs and repairs small equipment
  • Provides general building maintenance services for all Stark Foundation properties, including painting, basic plumbing, and space planning, arrangement and organization
  • Provides electrician services to all Stark Foundation properties, as qualified and licensed to do so
  • Cleans maintenance buildings, maintenance yards and work sites
  • Provides other services as may be directed by supervisor

Expectations:

  1. Support Foundation?s goals and values
  2. Provide courteous, professional, timely and accurate service and support to all visitors, vendors and co-workers
  3. Give and welcome feedback; contribute to building a positive team spirit
  4. Follows safe work procedures, reports potentially unsafe conditions, notify supervisor of damages, defects, or the need for repairs that could prevent deterioration of equipment or possible injury to employees or others
  5. Exercise care, perform required maintenance, and follow all operating instructions, safety standards, and guidelines when operating equipment or vehicles
  6. Properly store all supplies, materials and equipment
  7. Observe scheduled work hours
