General Cleaner

The responsibility of a Professional Cleaner is to maintain a worksite in optimum conditions through tasks such as disinfecting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming, among other duties while reporting issues to the supervisor.

The ideal candidate would be a self-motivated, self-starter who can plan, prioritize, and take the initiative on the job. We are looking for individuals with a high degree of responsibility who are ready to start working.

Job DescriptionDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Clean buildings by emptying trash, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning surfaces as assigned.
  • Monitor building’s security and safety by locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.
  • Properly use cleaning solutions and chemicals to remove stains and clean surfaces.
  • Use approved cleaning solutions with proper PPE as required and must follow SDS.
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using proper cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
  • Dust furniture and scrub surface clean.
  • Clean and service restrooms with mops and proper disinfectants.
  • Arrive on time for the shift as scheduled and complete all work in the allotted time.
  • Identify and report needed repairs on equipment to ensure they are well-maintained.
  • Cross-train on other duties or areas as assigned by Supervisor.

  • Supervisar la seguridad del edificio cerrando puertas despuĂ©s de las horas de operaciĂłn y verificar el uso de electrodomĂ©sticos para garantizar que no se creen riesgos.
  • Usar adecuadamente soluciones de limpieza para eliminar manchas y limpiar superficies.
  • Usar productos quĂ­micos de limpieza aprobados, y usando el adecuado EPP (Equipo de ProtecciĂłn Personal) al igual deben cumplir con las SDS (las hojas de datos de seguridad que proporcionan informaciĂłn valiosa para el programa de salud y la seguridad de los empleados)
  • Limpiar ventanas, particiones de vidrio y espejos, usando limpiadores, esponjas y jabones adecuados.
  • Desempolvar muebles y tallar areas hasta que queden limpias.
  • Limpiar y dar servicio a los baños la veces necesarias usando trapeadores y desinfectantes adecuados.
  • Llegar a tiempo para el turno programado y completar todo el trabajo en el tiempo asignado.
  • Identificar e informar las reparaciones necesarias en los equipos para garantizar que estĂ©n bien mantenidos.
