Friday, Saturday and Sunday 1130 PM - 730 AM

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in an educational setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming campus environment. You will assist with access control and badge-related activities, communicate professionally with students, staff, and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus guests while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, parking facilities, walkways, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel and emergency responders.
  • Monitor access points and observe campus activity, reporting unauthorized access attempts, suspicious behavior, and security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
  • Prepare clear and accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, incident documentation, and shift communications.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Previous access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
