Security Account Manager

The Security Account Manager will:

  • Oversee the shift operation and security analysts to triage, escalate, and manage responses to all events impacting or threatening personnel, property, and assets worldwide
  • Oversee daily shift operations and develop a comprehensive security management system to include procedures, polices and escalation/management responses for internal and external risks
  • Evaluate and continuously improve operator use of various technical security systems including access control, video management, and alarm monitoring
  • Maintaining situational awareness of natural and man-made events that may compromise the safety and security of personnel, business operations, and infrastructure for client locations globally.
  • Provide shift operational oversight, training, and quality assurance employees responsible for intelligence research and analysis, travel safety and security, event and incident management and workplace safety.
  • Ensure staff meets operational needs and operators are trained appropriately.
  • Use real time data derived from open source and other security platforms to foresee risk and inform decision makers.
  • Monitor and assess team performance by establishing strong objectives and measuring against client criteria and provide individual assessments of operator performance.
  • Receive shift pass down information, and conducting shift briefings to provide updates, assignments, training, and contractual compliance.
  • Ensure that personnel respond to all emergencies: medical, fire, hazardous materials, natural disasters, and accidents.
  • Assist the Client’s security personnel with the development and/or revision of security operation center processes, protocols, and work instructions.
  • Identify and route security for resolution of any nuisance or trouble (physical security) alarms.
  • Provides back-up, support, and on-call function as-needed.
  • Oversees quality control and oversight for all production, support, and staffing functions.

Security Account Manager Qualifications:

  • Experience with
    • Alarm monitoring programs (S2, Lenel, C-Cure) preferred.
    • CCTV programs (Milestone) preferred.
    • Directly managing people or leading a team.
  • Knowledge of security systems for access control and alarm monitoring.
  • Ability to interact with staff at all levels in a high pressure and fast paced environment.
  • A dependable team player with business maturity, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous supervisor experience (preferred) working in and leading personnel in a GSOC, or similar security command center environment.
  • Proficiency with security technologies and integration (CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection Systems etc.)
  • Broad knowledge of and experience with open-source intelligence gathering and reporting tools and best practices.
  • Basic experience configuring/administrating technical security systems such as access control, alarm/video monitoring platforms and other data capturing systems.
  • Must be adept at Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Office 365).
  • Self-motivated, curious, and knowledgeable pertaining to news and current events.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 21 years of age or older
  • Four (4) years previous Supervisory Experience
  • Must meet qualifications to complete state required Security Officer Affidavit/Registration.
  • Be able to pass a drug screen
  • Have access to reliable transportation

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Good working knowledge of Security Operations.
  • Understanding of Safety Practices in a Business environment.
  • Ability to provide high level of Customer Service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be computer proficient
  • Read, understand and clearly speak English; constantly use speech and hearing in communicating with the public and co-workers, giving and receiving instructions
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work in various environments including but not limited to adverse outdoor conditions such as cold, rain, heat.
