Position Title:
 Supervision Paraprofessional (Building Security)
Location: 
Jefferson High School - Bloomington, Minnesota
Effective Date:
  08/25/2026
Salary:
   Class III, ranging from $23.06 - $27.15 per hour
   *Wage placement based on similar experience
Hours:
   6.2 hours/day 
   5 days/week
   180 days/yr
Required Education:

















  • High School Diploma
  • 60 credits post-secondary education or a passing score on the Para Pro Exam


Required Experience:
   Experience working with adolescents in a supervisory capacity preferred.
Responsibilities:



  • Ensure safety for students and staff throughout the school day
  • Front door, hallway, parking lot, and lunchroom supervision
  • Partner with school administration for student support
  • Other duties as assigned
