You will play an important role in delivering professional, courteous service while maintaining a safe and secure environment. Permanent Positions we are looking to fill

P1: Monday to Friday 11.30 to 1930

P2: Saturday and Sunday 1330 to 2130 

Responsibilities for Government Building Security Guard
  • Conducting daily functions of the security unit including visual deterent, and report writing/note taking.
  • Liaising with visitors, customers. and the general public on a consistent basis
  • Providing customer service information and assist in handling the questions of visitors
  • Maintaining a positive, productive work environment through positive teamwork
  • Assist with access control and monitor individuals within the building.
  • Maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents.
  • Conduct regular interior and Exterior  patrols of the building.
  • Manage crowds and ensure safety
  • Respond to emergencies, such as fires, medical situations, or security breaches.
  • Access control & technology proficiency required.
Qualifications for Government Building Security Guard
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience in the security industry (asset)
  • Customer service oriented
  • Be able to work Afernoon shifts
