We are seeking a Facility Manager to provide on-site facility management support to assigned GSA Facilities. In this role, you will oversee building operations, inspections, and small construction projects while supporting tenant satisfaction and maintaining facility performance.

This is a contract opportunity offering stable work, exposure to federal infrastructure, and the ability to support essential government operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a primary point of contact supporting tenant agencies and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate reimbursable work and support cost monitoring activities.
  • Assist with budgeting and financial tracking under the direction of the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR).
  • Prepare documentation, inspection reports, and recommendations for GSA review using GSA formats.
  • Provide Construction Management (CM) and Project Management (PM) support for repair and alteration projects ranging from below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT) up to prospectus-level projects.
  • Perform inspections of federal and leased facilities to ensure compliance with terms
  • Monitor building systems, maintenance contracts (e.g., janitorial, mechanical, elevator), and operational services.
  • Monitor maintenance activities and ensure service quality
  • Support small construction and repair projects from start to closeout
  • Coordinate with contractors, tenants, and government staff
  • Track issues and prepare reports for review
  • Support customer service efforts and tenant satisfaction
Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in facilities, construction, or property management
  • Working knowledge of building systems and safety standards
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance (Secret / Top Secret / Public Trust)
  • Employment is contingent upon successful background investigation and PIV card issuance

Preferred

  • Experience supporting federal or government facilities
  • Exposure to construction or project coordination
  • Familiarity with facility inspections and maintenance oversight
Security Clearance Requirement
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance (Secret / Top Secret / Public Trust)
