Building Operations Management: Facilities Coordinators oversee daily building operations, ensuring all systems (HVAC, lighting, plumbing, electrical) function properly. They coordinate maintenance schedules, respond to facility issues, and ensure the physical environment meets operational standards.

Vendor and Contractor Coordination: They manage relationships with service providers, schedule repairs and maintenance work, obtain quotes, track work orders, and ensure vendors comply with building standards and safety regulations.

Space Planning and Management: Coordinators help optimize workspace utilization by managing office moves, coordinating furniture installations, maintaining floor plans, and ensuring spaces meet employee needs and comply with occupancy requirements.

Health and Safety Compliance: They monitor compliance with safety regulations, conduct regular inspections, maintain emergency preparedness plans, coordinate fire drills, and ensure proper signage and safety equipment are in place.
