Position Summary:
Performs and/or assists the Manager / Supervisor, Facilities with the maintenance, repair, replacement, adjustments and modification of the facility, equipment and the outside grounds according to a set schedule and in emergency and non- emergency situations while observing all safety regulations and ensuring all quality standards are met while maintaining the efficient flow of product through the production process. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duties assigned to best serve the company.
Position Details:
  • Location: 100 West End Rd. Hanover Township 18706
  • Pay: $20.00 - $24.00/hour (Depending on experience)
  • Shifts Available: (will be discussed further in an interview)
    • 7:00pm - 3:30am
    • 3:00pm - 11:30pm
Position Responsibilities:
  • Review work schedule, perform safety check on equipment, obtain supplies required to perform the work, and prepare for operations.
  • Perform building and grounds maintenance and general upkeep duties as needed, including mowing, weed whacking, and chipping ice during winter conditions.
  • Assist Facilities Manager and other personnel with installations, modifications, adjustments, and replacements of tools, equipment, and any other maintenance projects as assigned.
  • Maintain warehouse, operate power equipment to sweep and scrub floors, wash warehouse floors and aisles, clean up spills, remove trash and debris, and perform snow plowing as required.
  • Perform scheduled custodial duties, paint, scrape, power wash, and other projects as assigned.
  • Fill and maintain the cardboard baler, water batteries, and assist with moving pallets and washing totes.
  • Perform light maintenance (e.g., change light bulbs, repair sinks and toilets, clean carpets, duct work, set up conference rooms, etc.) as needed.
  • Assist warehouse personnel, outside contractors, and maintenance personnel on special maintenance projects as directed, including work on conveyor systems.
  • At the end of the shift, secure all equipment, perform general housekeeping duties, and complete all required paperwork.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience
Must have a Valid Drivers License
Must be able to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for the position
Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift
Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e., cooler, freezer and dry
Preferred Qualifications
1 - 2 years building maintenance experience in warehouse and / or production environment
Previous experience with conveyor systems, electrical work, plumbing, HVAC, and lockout/tagout procedures is preferred.
