Position Overview

East Brown Cow Management Inc. is seeking a motivated, full-time Maintenance Technician to join our team in the Greater Portland area. The Maintenance Technician will join a small team who is responsible for maintaining and repairing commercial properties while providing excellent service to tenants.


Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assist with general maintenance, cleaning, and repair tasks across managed properties

• Troubleshoot building systems and respond to tenant maintenance requests

• Support preventative maintenance programs to ensure building performance

• Provide excellent customer service and interact professionally with tenants

• Work collaboratively with team members and vendors

• Maintain a safe and organized work environment

• Track and document completed work and time entries

• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule (as skills develop)


Compensation Package/Benefits

• $20.00–$22.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a full-time, non-exempt position eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable wage and hour laws

Requirements:

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent

• Interest in building maintenance or trade skills 

• Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general repairs

• Basic computer skills (email and work order systems)

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, bending, and standing for extended periods

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
